Re: M3izero makes error code on dsi

When I was playing my DS today I figured that my M3I Zero had the error code had a less wait time than normal.

My theory is that my m3i zero has a cooling problem, cause today it about 65°F and the error code wait time is less and when it was 80°F I had to wait longer.

Can you help me with the cooling problem? I tried using a fan and blowing on the chip but that didn't help.

New M3i Zero cannot create save file

Received my new M3i Zero card yesterday but cannot get it to work. The card is the new version (GMP-Z003) that requires the 1.6 core file. I had no problem flashing the card with the firmware. I also had no problem installing the M3_Sakura_1.48X_TouchPod_4.8dX system. M3 Sakura starts fine but when I try to start a game I get stuck on the \"creating save file...\". If I shut it off and start it again the game will sometimes load fine but if I try to launch a new game without a save file the same thing happens again. It takes forever (many many minutes) to launch a game! It is clear that something is horribly wrong... The card is totally unusable!

I have tried everything:
- Disabled the disc check option in M3 Sakura
- Formated the card as FAT32 and FAT
- Tried to format the card both in Vista and the SDFormatter 2.9.0.5.

I have two other M3i Zero cards of the older models that has been working absolutely flawlessly but I cannot get the new GMP-Z003 to work. The MicroSD card used is a brand new Kingston 4GB class 4 card which seem to work properly when writing and reading from it when attached to a PC card reader. The write speed it about 4MB/s which is expected from a class 4 card.

I have read about others on this forum that have received their M3i Zero cards the last few days and having the same problem. Maybe it is a bad batch of the new cards?

If nothing is working then you may need to exchange it with your vendor.

I have a new M3i Zero, the first thing I did was to find the latest firware, update it which was sucessful according to the manual and to copy the system folder to the root of the flash card.

When I turn the system on I see Danny Phantom, but when I try to actually load it and error comes up saying

No system file found !
Put system file in

I have tried reflashing the card a couple of times. My last attempt was to even flash it to 1.4 instead of the 1.6 I orginally used. I've even tried this in both my original DS, and my DSi. The results are the same. I even tried finding the system folder from a couple other in addition to what I got from the official site all attemps have ended the same.

Any suggestions on what I should do next or do I have a bad flash cart?

Where did you get the flashcard?

You may want to try formatting the Microsd using a software such as the Panasonic SD formatting software or other recommended softwares
